Gallery Exhibit at The Bellefonte Art Museum of Centre County

This week, my collections were installed in the Jewelry Gallery at the Bellefonte Art Museum of Centre County and will be displayed through February, 2017. This museum is a wonderful gem in the quaint historic town of Bellefonte, PA. The museum, established 9 years ago, is located in the beautiful Linn House, built in 1810, and is located in beautiful downtown Bellefonte, a block from the courthouse.

The museum has several different galleries and exhibits, some which rotate on a monthly basis, such as the jewelry exhibit, and some which rotate quarterly. Most of the exhibitors are from
Central Pennsylvania, selected from the museum’s Artist Registry of over 150 artists. There is also a World Gallery featuring works from China, Africa, South America, and more. In addition to the beautiful artwork exhibited, the museum offers a print gallery, an art library, a children’s creativity center, as well as various community events. There is also a permanent exhibit featuring the Underground Railroad on the top floor of the museum.

The exhibit runs from February 3 to February 26, 2017. The museum is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 4:30 pm. On Sunday, February 5th, there is a reception at the museum, featuring a number of the exhibiting artists, and there will be activities for children in the Children’s Creativity Center. Also, on February 19th from 1 to 4 pm, there will be a Meet the Artist event which I will attend. If you are local to Central PA, I hope to see you there!
