Each of my pieces is entirely handmade by me, with the exception of some of the prefabricated chains I include with pendants. I specialize in the ancient techniques of chain-making and Chasing and Repousse. Chasing and repousse, which has almost become a lost art, is a sculpting technique that uses blunt tools and a hammer to create an image in metal. There are no molds, machines or stamps used in this process. The piece is first worked from the back to create depth in the piece (repousse), and then the piece is worked from the front to add detail (chasing). This is a laborious technique that results in an absolutely unique piece.
