I am passionate about making beautiful jewelry using the same techniques and methods that have been around since ancient times. While I am familiar with “modern” tools and methods (I haven’t met a jeweler yet who doesn’t love tools), I find that I am always drawn back to what I consider to be simpler, albeit much slower, methods.
My work is strongly inspired by the natural world. I truly believe that by using these time-intensive, yet meditative methods to express my awe and admiration of the beauty in nature, there is an energy that emanates from each piece, almost a soul. It is my wish that the wearer connects with that energy and that the piece becomes their personal touchstone. Nothing makes me happier than to know one of my beloved pieces is worn and treasured, and hopefully passed to future generations.

While I have always been interested in the techniques of ancient jewelers, once I discovered chasing and repousse as well as engraving, I never looked back. I just love the process of bringing an image within the metal to the surface. These are laborious techniques, but each piece is truly a labor of love and results in a one of a kind piece of jewelry that you will treasure.
