I have a lot of favorite pieces, but I can honestly say this is one of my all time favorites. This bracelet was woven using a technique called Loop in Loop, which dates back thousands of years. This was the predominant type of chain the Ancient Romans used.

The specific weave used for this chain, called Thai Weave, creates a flat, lace-like chain. This weave uses the loop in loop technique but is a newer style of weave and was not found in ancient times.

There are approximately 28 links woven into each inch of this chain. Each of the links is formed into a circle, fused into a closed loop, shaped, and then these closed loops are woven into the chain.

The chain is fine silver fits a 6-3/4 inch wrist and is finished with a handmade sterling silver box clasp. There is a safety chain on the clasp for added security.
