I love all nature, but I do feel there is something so magical about dolphins. I think it’s the humanity that you can see reflected in their eye. At one point I was studying marine biology, hoping to be able to work with the dolphins. Life took a turn, however, and I ended up creating this beautiful tribute to them instead.

This gorgeous cuff bracelet was hand-sculpted from a flat sheet of sterling silver using small blunt tools and thousands of hammer blows. This technique is called chasing and repousse (chasing is to work from the front of the piece, repousse is working from the back to push out the metal and create depth). The work is done freehand, so no molds, machines or stamps are used in the process. This work results in a truly unique and one of a kind piece of jewelry.

This sterling silver bracelet is about 3/4-inch in width and fits a 6-1/2 inch wrist.
