We used to visit Charleston, South Carolina often when I was young, and my grandparents would always take us to the beach. I don’t remember finding any sand dollars on the beach myself, but I did have quite the collection from the shops we passed! Lots of very fond memories…

The earrings are hollow and have a solid back, just as a real sand dollar does. This also makes them lighter to where than if they were solid. The details on the sand dollars were hand engraved.

The earrings are 1-1/4 inches long and hang from handmade sterling silver earwires.
