This daisy pendant was hand-sculpted using the ancient sculpting techniques of Chasing and Repousse. Small, specialized tools and thousands of hammer blows to push and form the metal, either from the front of the piece to add texture and detail (chasing) or from behind to create depth (repousse). This work is done free hand, beginning with a flat sheet of metal, and no molds, stamps or machines are used in the process, making each piece truly one of a kind.

This sterling silver pendant is about 1-1/4 inches in diameter and has 18K gold accents in the middle of the flower. The back of the pendant features a handsawn and engraved image of daisies with a small Montana sapphire. The pendant comes on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain, finished with a lobster clasp.
