I’ll never forget the first time I remember driving past a field of sunflowers, all turned toward the sun! My mom and I were taking a trip, driving to Alberta, Canada, and we had taken a longer scenic route through Canada. The field was absolutely gorgeous!

These earrings are created entirely by hand, using an ancient sculpting technique called chasing and repousse. This ancient technique uses small, specialized tools and thousands of hammer blows to push and form the metal, either from the front of the piece (chasing) or from behind to create depth (repousse). This work is done free hand, beginning with a flat sheet of metal, and no molds, stamps or machines are used in the process, making each piece truly one of a kind.

These sterling silver earrings are 1-1/4 inches long and are very light and easy to wear.
